2. Vendor Eligibility

To become a vendor, you must:

  • Provide accurate store and business information.
  • Be legally permitted to sell the products or services you list.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

StonesJoe may request additional information or documentation before approving a vendor account.


3. Vendor Account

Each vendor is responsible for maintaining the security of their account.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login information confidential.
  • Providing accurate account information.
  • Updating your information when it changes.
  • Preventing unauthorized access to your account.
  • All activity carried out through your vendor account.

You must notify StonesJoe if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.

A vendor must not impersonate another person, business, organization, or brand.


4. Vendor Store Information

Vendors are responsible for providing accurate store information, including where applicable:

  • Store name
  • Business name
  • Address
  • City
  • State or region
  • Country
  • Postcode
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Business information
  • Payment or payout information

Vendors must keep this information accurate and up to date.


5. Products and Listings

Vendors are responsible for all products and services they list on StonesJoe.

Product listings must contain accurate information, including where applicable:

  • Product name
  • Product description
  • Product images
  • Product price
  • Product variations
  • Product specifications
  • Stock availability
  • Size or dimensions
  • Color
  • Brand information
  • Shipping information
  • Other information necessary for customers to make an informed purchasing decision

Vendors must not intentionally provide misleading, false, or deceptive product information.


6. Product Images and Content

Vendors must only upload images, descriptions, videos, logos, trademarks, and other content that they have the right to use.

Vendors must not upload content that infringes another person’s or company’s:

  • Copyright
  • Trademark
  • Patent
  • Design rights
  • Privacy rights
  • Intellectual property rights

StonesJoe may remove content that appears to violate these requirements.


7. Prohibited Products and Activities

Vendors must not list, advertise, sell, or promote products or services that are illegal or prohibited under applicable laws.

Prohibited products and activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Counterfeit products
  • Stolen goods
  • Fraudulent products or services
  • Products that infringe intellectual property rights
  • Illegal weapons or prohibited weapons
  • Explosives
  • Products prohibited by applicable law
  • Fraudulent financial products or schemes
  • Products or services intended to facilitate illegal activity
  • Any other products or services that StonesJoe determines should not be offered on the marketplace

StonesJoe may remove prohibited listings and suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activity.


8. Compliance With Laws

Vendors are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to their business and products.

This may include laws relating to:

  • Consumer protection
  • Product safety
  • Product labeling
  • Taxation
  • Business registration
  • Advertising
  • Intellectual property
  • Data protection
  • Shipping and customs
  • Import and export
  • Industry-specific requirements

StonesJoe does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice to vendors.

Vendors are responsible for obtaining their own professional advice where necessary.


9. Pricing

Vendors are responsible for setting and maintaining the prices of their products unless otherwise agreed with StonesJoe.

Vendors must ensure that:

  • Prices are accurate.
  • Sale prices are genuine and not misleading.
  • Product variations have appropriate pricing.
  • Any applicable taxes or charges are properly represented.
  • Pricing complies with applicable laws.

StonesJoe may provide tools that allow vendors to manage product pricing and promotions.


10. Inventory and Availability

Vendors are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory information.

Vendors should promptly update or remove products that are no longer available.

Repeatedly accepting orders for unavailable products may result in account restrictions or other action.


11. Orders

When a customer places an order for a vendor’s product, the vendor is responsible for processing the order in accordance with StonesJoe’s marketplace procedures.

Vendors are expected to:

  • Process orders promptly.
  • Prepare products accurately.
  • Package products appropriately.
  • Provide accurate shipping information.
  • Fulfill orders within the stated processing time.
  • Communicate appropriately with customers.

12. Shipping and Delivery

Vendors are responsible for fulfilling and shipping their own orders unless a different fulfillment arrangement has been agreed with StonesJoe.

Vendors must provide accurate shipping information and reasonable delivery estimates.

Vendors are responsible for complying with applicable shipping, customs, import, and export requirements.

Where a vendor is responsible for shipping, the vendor should provide tracking information where available.


13. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Vendors must comply with StonesJoe’s applicable return, refund, cancellation, and customer-protection policies.

Where the vendor is responsible for a product or order issue, the vendor may be responsible for:

  • Providing a replacement.
  • Accepting a return.
  • Providing a refund.
  • Resolving damaged-product claims.
  • Resolving incorrect-product claims.
  • Addressing other legitimate customer complaints.

Nothing in these Vendor Terms removes any consumer rights provided by applicable law.


14. Customer Service

Vendors are responsible for providing reasonable customer service for their products and orders.

Vendors should respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Vendors must not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse customers.


15. Marketplace Commission and Fees

StonesJoe may charge vendors commissions, service fees, transaction fees, or other applicable marketplace fees.

The applicable commission or fee structure will be communicated through the StonesJoe platform or applicable vendor documentation.

StonesJoe may change its fees in accordance with its applicable policies.

Vendors are responsible for reviewing the applicable fees before selling through the marketplace.


16. Vendor Payouts

Vendor earnings may be subject to:

  • Marketplace commissions
  • Transaction fees
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Adjustments
  • Other applicable deductions

Payouts will be processed according to the payout schedule and payment methods supported by StonesJoe.

StonesJoe may delay or withhold a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate:

  • Fraud
  • Chargebacks
  • Refunds
  • Disputed transactions
  • Suspicious activity
  • Policy violations
  • Other marketplace risks

17. Taxes

Vendors are responsible for determining and meeting their own tax obligations.

Depending on the vendor’s location and applicable law, this may include:

  • Income taxes
  • Sales taxes
  • VAT
  • Other applicable taxes
  • Business registration obligations
  • Tax reporting requirements

StonesJoe does not guarantee that taxes will be calculated, collected, or reported on behalf of a vendor unless expressly stated.


18. Vendor Intellectual Property

Vendors retain ownership of their intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.

By uploading content to StonesJoe, the vendor grants StonesJoe permission to use, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate the marketplace.
  • Display vendor stores and products.
  • Process customer orders.
  • Promote products and vendors.
  • Advertise StonesJoe Marketplace.
  • Improve marketplace services.

The vendor confirms that they have the necessary rights to grant this permission.

Vendors must:

  • Keep customer information confidential.
  • Use customer information only for legitimate marketplace purposes.
  • Not sell customer information.
  • Not misuse customer information.
  • Not use customer information for unauthorized marketing.
  • Protect customer information from unauthorized access.

Vendors must comply with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.


20. Prohibited Vendor Conduct

Vendors must not:

  • Manipulate marketplace reviews.
  • Create fake customer accounts.
  • Submit fraudulent orders.
  • Misrepresent products.
  • Attempt to manipulate marketplace rankings.
  • Circumvent marketplace fees.
  • Direct customers away from StonesJoe for the purpose of avoiding marketplace fees.
  • Abuse marketplace functionality.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code.
  • Engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Harass customers or other vendors.
  • Use StonesJoe to facilitate illegal activities.

21. Reviews and Ratings

Customers may leave reviews and ratings based on their purchasing experience.

Vendors must not:

  • Create fake reviews.
  • Pay for fraudulent reviews.
  • Threaten customers to obtain positive reviews.
  • Manipulate ratings.
  • Remove or alter customer reviews without authorization.

StonesJoe may remove reviews that violate applicable marketplace policies.


22. Vendor Responsibility

The vendor is responsible for the products and services they offer through StonesJoe.

This includes responsibility for:

  • Product quality
  • Product safety
  • Product authenticity
  • Product descriptions
  • Pricing
  • Inventory
  • Packaging
  • Shipping
  • Returns
  • Refunds
  • Customer service
  • Legal compliance

23. StonesJoe’s Right to Review Listings

StonesJoe may review vendor listings and store content for compliance with marketplace policies.

StonesJoe may:

  • Remove listings.
  • Request additional information.
  • Restrict products.
  • Temporarily suspend listings.
  • Suspend vendor accounts.
  • Restrict marketplace functionality.

Where appropriate, StonesJoe may contact the vendor before taking further action.


24. Vendor Suspension or Termination

StonesJoe may suspend or terminate a vendor account where the vendor:

  • Violates these Vendor Terms.
  • Violates applicable marketplace policies.
  • Provides false information.
  • Engages in fraudulent activity.
  • Lists prohibited products.
  • Repeatedly fails to fulfill orders.
  • Creates significant customer complaints.
  • Misuses customer information.
  • Attempts to circumvent marketplace fees.
  • Violates applicable law.
  • Creates a significant risk to customers, vendors, or StonesJoe.

A vendor may also request to close their account.

Closing an account does not eliminate obligations relating to previous orders, refunds, disputes, fees, taxes, or other outstanding matters.


25. Vendor Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the vendor agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the vendor’s:

  • Products or services.
  • Breach of these Vendor Terms.
  • Violation of applicable law.
  • Infringement of another person’s intellectual property rights.
  • Misuse of customer information.
  • Fraudulent or unlawful activity.
  • Negligence or misconduct.

26. Marketplace Availability

StonesJoe will make reasonable efforts to keep the marketplace available, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The marketplace may occasionally be unavailable because of:

Maintenance

Updates

Security issues

Hosting problems

Technical failures

Third-party service interruptions
